Doorstep Fuel Delivery Written By : Neeraj Gupta, CEO - India 08/12/2022

What is mobile fuel delivery & why is it catching on?

In the long run, one can foresee the association of doorstep delivery with fuel becoming as conventional as with food and fashion.

The founding principle of business is no more rhetorical. Customers are quite literally treated as royalty. When product diversion reaches a threshold, the gamut of customer services expands.

Let's talk about delivery-at-doorstep. What started with fast-moving goods, today, with better logistics and wider networking tools, the range of deliverable goods and services has expanded.

Fuel mobilization is one such pathbreaking enterprise. The vision is to enable customers to digitally place orders and availing fuel at their disposal without the hassles of transit.

Research has predicted that India would need nearly 180,000 fuel stations, especially in Tier-2 and 3 cities, semi-urban and rural areas by 2035. Besides the mammoth investment that would require, land acquisition for the same would also be a major hurdle.

For housing, hospitality, and commercial centres, the need for diesel procurement is perpetual. As such, fuel delivery would not only be handy to ascertain timely purchase but also minimise wastage of all kinds.

There is an accentuated use of leak-proof containers and quality-checking systems in fuel delivery to eliminate adulteration.

In a gadget-oriented world, the use of IoT and state-of-the-art technology in fuel mobilization would catalyse growth prospects for concerned entrepreneurs and enhance overall reach. We'd be able to achieve a higher level of transparency in the supply chain.

Mobile fuel delivery, though currently nascent, is growing rather exponentially. In the long run, one can foresee the association of doorstep delivery with fuel becoming as conventional as with food and fashion.
